Controls are messed up after using joystick

When I plugged in the joystick, the airplane kept rolling to the left. No controls on pitch or right roll. Tried to follow the instructions in attempt to use keyboard controls again but the application is so stubborn that even after uninstalling/installing it again, did not fix the issue. Here I just wasted $10.
