Awesome graphical enhancement but still could be better.
I’m glad that this game has a graphical enhancement. However, this game still has some problems.
1. The view in the supersonic jet cockpit still doesn’t allow me to see the runway ahead at the ground position even with the nose all the way down.
2. There still isn’t any actual airplane in this game, which is a shame because Carrier Landings Pro did it just fine.
3. There is an option for increasing the amount of passengers in the freight plane, which shouldn’t be because the thing only has a capacity for the crew and the freight.
4. The sound quality in the title screen music doesn’t sound as clear as it did before the update.
5. The camera position in the cockpit is unrealistic, uncomfortable, and unreliable. Why isn’t the camera where my head would be in an airplane: back against the headrest in the left seat? All of the aircraft place the camera either between the seats, higher than the seats, or in front of the seats, or all 3. This problem wasn’t present in the previous version (except in the buisiness jet) of Extreme Landings, so what happened here?
6. The wah wah sound problem in the freighter and the buisiness jet and supersonic jet is still present. The normal jet (before the game was updated with the other planes) doesn’t have that wah wah sound, why do these planes have this wah wah problem?
7. Where is the screen-lit version of the nose angle thing in the cockpit of the supersonic jet? The piston jet has the screen lit nose thing, and that airplane is older than the supersonic jet, so why can’t it be there instead of the physical ball nose thing?
8. Why isn’t the airplane automatically placed right next to the airport terminal instead of on the runway?
Summary: I like the graphical enhancement, but I found the previous version to be more playable than this version.
