The app is great, the only things I would like changed are the following 1) Make the Airports overall look more like what they really are, once landed, allow for a way to taxi around, THEN end the flight. 2) Make the surrounding cities more to scale as well as lakes with their mountainous cliffs. 3) Add propeller planes

this game is a pretty good simulator and is pretty realistic, however with the new update when you assign controls the only way to change them is to assign a different key or axis…. i am using the Logitech 3D Extreme PRO controller and im very excited to use the rudder axis and throttle axis instead of the keyboard keys but there are not enough axes on the controller so when i use the rudder it also changes the breaks and flaps!!! is makes game play VERY annoying and in the harder missions IMPOSSIBLE!!! ALSO the refuling function is finally added and is great but the plane engines should be able to be turned off without refueling automatically SUGGESTIONS Please make an option to delete controls Please add a reset controls button Add a refuling contol in to the sub systems pane: on/off switch for refuling and a percentage to fuel to allowing to remove fuel (drain from tanks back into the airport fuel system) as well while on the ground so the player can pin point take off conditions (this will allow weight control WHICH IS IMPORTANT WITH AIRCRAFT) also please add in the ability to Taxi (drive the plane on the ground with its own power) this will help with way points and retaking off without crashing due to running out of runway… right now there is no way to back up and have a full runway to take off again or back up to change which runway to take off from. other than that keep up the good work

When I plugged in the joystick, the airplane kept rolling to the left. No controls on pitch or right roll. Tried to follow the instructions in attempt to use keyboard controls again but the application is so stubborn that even after uninstalling/installing it again, did not fix the issue. Here I just wasted $10.

Its not bad but here are some suggestions. - Create DIFFERENT missions according to the aircraft instead of using the same theme for all aircrafts. - FIX the gliches. I see gliches on replays that are annoying and shows only ocean when in fact there should be land underneath the plane. There is also a glitch where it shows the landing gear running over dirt while in mid air. - After landing, have a directive where you need to park at a terminal. Also, create terminals. - Just like in the first suggestion, try to be more mission specific when it comes to the aircraft. Ex - Carge plane = cargo missions, Passenger plane = passenger missions/issues. Concorde plane = concorde issues i.e. speed and timing missions.

I went to the Shanghi Airport Podong in China and I know for a fact that there is more than one runway. When I went on Extreme Landings, there’s only one. Also make it more realistic by adding buildings and cars that are moving. It’s a long way off from Flight Simulator X, but its getting there.

it is acceptable for what it is spected but they should add more planes, airports, air traffic, communications with ATC and tower.

I really like this game but flying on longer trips is annoying when the plane doesnt just follow the flight plan without me adjusting the heading. I’d understand if these were smaller aircraft but they’re “commercial” aircraft and the autopilot should function that way. There is no reason these aircraft should have the same autopilot system as a Cessna or Beach craft

Finally an App game that is actually worth the money. Love everything about the game. Please add more planes !! thats the only thing that is missing. The update with the two extra was awesome, thats all I fly now. Please add more !

I play this mostly for the flight simulator and it is very well done however the graphics on my MacBook Air are nothing like the picture displayed in the App Store. The terrain mostly looks like repeated farmland outside the airports. What would make this flight sim great are: - Real world terrain detail - maybe integreate with good maps sateline imagery - The aircraft are missing nav lights and beacons - makes for stealthy night time flying but missing nonetheless. Should be an easy add - There is no traffic - when piloting the simulator, it would be nice to have traffic, radar, transponder and ATC communications - You can not taxi - I’d love to be able to start and end on a ramp at a terminal instead of the runway In my mind, these few additional features would make the entire experience more real wold.

When will be the Macbook version updated?

Need more planes like Boeing 777 or the Airbus A380 , and more airports , with tower communications and traffic. The autopilot should be fix on its destinations so that you will no longer adjust the autopilot every waypoints :) thanks

I was looking for an enjoyable, fun and easy to use flight simulator and that’s just what I got. I have tried many others only to be frustrated and/or disappointed. This app is well worth the $10. I’m running it on a 7 year old MacBook and the graphics are great, as is the gameplay. The flying experience is enjoyable whether I’m using the keyboard or an external controller. I have absolutly no complaints and woud highly recommend this sim. I’d love to see more planes, but am satisfied with the selection included.

FIRST: THANK YOU FOR THE FREE UPDATE!! The new terrain is fantastic, especially at night! REVIEW: This game is sort of a mix between arcade and sim flying, leaning slightly more towards the sim side. You can play with many controls you wouldn’t expect from something not as “heavy” as games like FSX. The flight planning and controls are pretty straight forward and fun to set up. The incident/emergency/career gameplay mode is a lot of fun as well where you test your skill by figuring out how to resolve various system malfunctions. And despite a few flaws, I more often find myself opening this game up over the bigger sims I own. I can start it up, get my flying fix for an hour or two and not spend forever setting everything up. THINGS IT NEEDS: - The flight planning map: HOW DO I ZOOM?! It occasionally works, then later I get nothing. What am I doing wrong? - More planes, liveries, etc… - A better input setup UI. Not being able to clear the current hotkey is infuriating, and I often end up setting multiple hotkeys for one control when this should be detected and the old one removed. At least expand the tableview, I hate horizontal scrollbars! - I would absolutely love some sort of customization/mod support (save you guys the extra work!), but I realize that might not be economically feasible for a smaller game/studio possibly wanting to release DLC.

Bought it and couldn’t stop playing. The new update is so cool! I was doing a flight from Los Angeles to London and left at midnight and took 5 or 6 screenshots of the scenery. It was absolutely beautiful. Great simulator all together, just wish there were all or most of planes that are currently being flown around the world today. Also, the planes should have real names, which was dissapointing too. And there should be an option to switch to standard measurements so I can know if I can make flights more easily. But those are all minor problems and the game is near perfect otherwise. Great job Rortos!
